Clearing eMMC

Before proceeding with these steps it is important that any buttons on the target device that are required to Boot from USB are tested. If the required buttons are non-functional and the eMMC is cleared the device will become unrecoverable until the required buttons are repaired.

This will permanently delete ALL data stored on the device. This includes any operating system installation, software and any personal data. After this process is complete the device will become unbootable until an operating system is installed from USB.

After clearing the eMMC and powering down the device it may boot loop when powered back on with the device continually powering up and rebooting. Do not attempt to power on the device until you have a bootable USB drive available and are ready to boot from USB.
